Subject:Re: Rear shocks/springs question

I thought the back end was intentionally sat lower than the front, at least
to some degree.

My theory has always been that the incline has had to do with sleeping in
the van. With a slight tilt, sleeping is more comfortable. If the van were
level or sloped the opposite way the blood all flows to your head when you
sleep and you wake up feeling super-groggy.

Or there's the possibility that since the driver & passenger sit ON/IN FRONT
OF the front wheels, the unweighted van may need to sit higher to
compensate.

Or VW was just going for that majestic, gazing towards the horizon look.

Or none of these.
