Joseph- Two things to check. First, the latch on the right side of the sink cover may be deformed/broken. Try to lift your sink lid and see if it releases, or has some 'slack' in it. Ours did. I replaced the striker plate with one off one of the deep wells and it stopped rattling. If that is too much futzing for you, cover your burner grill with a towel, then close the sink cover. We did this for about a month until I figured out the stuff in paragraph one. Cheers, G. It seems to be the steel that is vibrating. I've looked at it and can't figure if there is anything I can tighten up. Maybe I just need a better sound system to turn up so I can't hear it. Any way it's bugging me a lot these days. Anyone have any tips? joseph 86westy
