Subject:'82 Diesel-What does that Switch Do?

On my '82 Diesel I have a mystery switch on the dash.  On the right side of
the dash panel, there is a switch for the rear defroster, below that the
hazard flasher switch and then below that an unlabeled factory switch that
doesn't appear to do anything at all.  Can anyone guess as to its fundtion or
intended function?
