I purchased a redline product called 'water wetter'.  It is a cooling
enhancer, cooling system lubricant and anti-corrosion agent.  I put 2
bottles of it in to my '87 synchro and presto! it dropped about 20
degrees at operating temp.  This oughta add a couple of months of life
to my problematic friend.

Just thought you all might want to know.
