Well, the 'ole waterpump gave up the ghost yesterday releiving the system of
all coolant.  Got it replaced (not my regular guy-this happened on the road)
and $600 later my temp gauge is not registering.  Like any good Vanagon
driver I watch the temp gauge more than the road and am feeling lost now.
What did this dingbat do (or forget to do?) Thanks for any help.
