Listen, I don't have any hard feelings about this and if you want to talk about air flow and ducting, then by all means go for it. The thing I was getting upset about was that the discussion was telling folks that the scoops that I was selling would actually hurt the driving performance of their van because (insert technical mumbo jumbo). This basically kills any chance I had at selling them on the List and that is what hurt. And what was all this "nay" saying based on? Conjecture, and tests done by NASA and Formula one racers. In case you haven't noticed a Vanagon doesn't travel at anywhere near the speed of a Formula one car much less a super sonic aircraft. So can you honestly say that a "scoop" on the side of a Vanagon is going to mess up its laminar air flow. I say "What laminar air flow? Its a brick for Pete's sake not an airfoil!" Anyway it's Friday, I've already sold the airscoops, have a great day! Thanks, Ken Wilford http://www.vanagain.com John 3:16 Phone: (856)-765-1583 Shop: (856)-327-0027 Fax: (856)-327-2242
