Might you get me in touch with this party. It's not what I had in mind but
his/her experience might be helpful. I would prefer to use VW parts to do the
conversion. I still think that you can make the early front Vanagon rotors to
fit over the rear hubs with little effort (like in the 914 and 924). If I can
get someone to give me measurements, it would save me the time of taking mine
apart before I'm ready to do the conversion.
