The only car I ever owned I liked more than my Vanagon(90GL) was a 1963 Porsche 356B coupe with no rust. Paid $2100 for it in 1971. Wish I still had it. Only other runner ups were a 73 and 76 BMW 2002 had were cool cars before they switched body styles and the yuppies glommed on to them. Click and Clak's shtick is definitely in meltdown mode DM&FS -----Original Message----- From: Doktor Tim <doktortim@ROCKISLAND.COM> To: vanagon@GERRY.VANAGON.COM <vanagon@GERRY.VANAGON.COM> Date: Friday, December 31, 1999 10:47 AM Subject: Re: Best cars: was Re: worst cars >At 08:39 AM 12/31/1999 -0800, you wrote: > >>There is an international group of car experts about to announce the car >>of the century. >> >>Five finalists: >>Model T--first mass production car >>Beetle--first car for the masses >>Citroen--first aerodynamic car, and a bunch of other innovations >>Porsche 911--prototype sports car >>Mini--micro car... >> >>Hats off to Dr. Porsche for two finalists. >> > > > HERE HEAR!!! > > >T.P.
