In my syncro GL, I insulated with 3 layers; Reflectix (foil bubble wrap-type
stuff, bought it at Eagle Hardware), R-13 owens Corning insulation,
Poly-vinyl Vapor barrier (Vis-queen).  I did the whole van in about 3 hours.
Adds heat insulation as well  as sound.  Good luck.  BTW, the reflectix was
the most expensive part of the job.  let me know if you have any ?'s about
the actual installation and materials.
