Todd, I found that my green light that indicates the fridge is lit does not fuction. I was unable to see that the pilot light lit unless it was dark in the van. Since the sun has set try again, and pump the primer 30-40 times before You try and light it. It worked for me. Good luck, Todd 88 Westy --- Dan Winget <dnswinget@CSI.COM> wrote: > todd the green LED only indicates the burner is lit. > my experience is 12v > will not cool down the fridge it only maitains temp > (but not so well). it > probably works the y get really fussy when they sit > without being used. > > Dan > I am not an expert these are just my experiences > -----Original Message----- > From: Todd Evans <tsevans@IX.NETCOM.COM> > To: vanagon@GERRY.VANAGON.COM > <vanagon@GERRY.VANAGON.COM> > Date: Wednesday, December 29, 1999 7:16 PM > Subject: More on the - '83 Westy Fridge Won't Light > > > > > >Hello all, > > > >wow such quick responses are great. > > > >Here's where I am at now: > > > >I've got the van plug into 120 and I switched to > the appropriate settings > >for the fridge but the LED is not coming on.
