Joe,
I filled the cavities with polyurethane foam. It took many cans.
I had R13 before but didn't like the idea of fibers possibly
floating around inside the van. I think the polyurethane foam
adds a little bit of impact absorbtion. It also has a higher
R value than R13 fiberglass.
